Just like most other multiplayer games, PUBG might sometimes suffer from cheaters as well. Though there aren’t that many cheat/hack problems in the game at the moment, there have been many in the past. Most common one of them is the combo hack also widely known as speed hack. It was a way for people to jump ridiculously higher and run at a speed that is almost unseeable. Though this is not the only one amongst other cheats. So far PUBG players have came across to many aimbots, teleporters and wallhacks. Most of these cheats are developed and promoted by Chinese hackers.
In the past, a group of 15 Chinese hackers was also arrested and fined $5.1 million dollars for distribution of various hacks and cheats. After the arrest, Tencent Games explained ”Some hack programs that are being distributed through the internet includes a trojan horse virus. It was proven that hack developers used this virus to control users’ PC, scan their data, and extract information illegally.”
After all the players who used the cheats in game exposed themselves to a great risk of losing their information. We do not recommend anybody to use any type of cheats in videogames. As much as it’s dangerous for your device, also for moral reasons.
