Everybody loves zombies in the FPS games. Whether you view them as sick humans waiting to be cured or big bastards who are ready to take a big chunk out of your flesh. Zombies have inspired many FPS games in the past. Just like what Call of Duty: Black Ops II did in the past with adding zombie mods in 4 different separate modes to play with. It has inspired the other games in the genre to the do similar approach. Even though Call of Duty: Black Ops II wasn’t the first CoD game to add zombie mods, that title goes to World at War.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds also known as PUBG, tries to keep their ever increasing fan-base happy with their new updates. Since it’s a huge success, game developers trying to keep the game as interesting as possible so that the fans wouldn’t be bored out of their minds. Just like what happened with Call of Duty series we will see a zombie mod in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
This mod was actually fan-made. Seeing that the community loves the idea of zombies in the game. Developers are trying to give what the fans want. In the PUBG version of the mod, players get to play as zombies. Since PUBG has no singleplayer mode for any of its mods, you will have to choose between being a human or a blood-thirsty infectious zombie. Instead of having big boy zombies like in the Left 4 Dead series. PUBG keeps its zombies just like the original gameplay. There is no difference between a non-zombie player and a zombie player in terms of movement or speed. The only difference is that zombies can not pick up any items at all. This might seem a bit unfair to the zombies but imagine going up against 4 people who have weapons while on the other hand, your team has 95 other zombies.
