On January 30th, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds developers applied the hotfix to the live servers, aimed to correct the bugs that were being reported a lot a week prior to the hotfix. PUBG’s developers team weren’t able to fix all the bugs in just one maintenance though. Developer teams comment on this was ”Due to the complexity of some of the issues, we were unable to resolve them all in time for inclusion in this hotfix. We are working as hard as we can to resolve the remaining issues as soon as possible.”
Even though this maintenance was fixing some of the problems they had many other bugs and performance issues to overcome. Some of the issues that they were able to fix is where sometimes main weapons were not equipped in certain situations, where you were unable to pick up the wanted quantity of an item from a loot box, where a party member’s character would intermittently not appear in the lobby, where the mission list language would not update after changing the language in settings and some other bugs related to Vikendi.
